Translating Brand Identity into a Seamless Shopify Experience

Project Overview

The Apparel Collective is an online clothing store that underwent a rebrand with the help of local agency Pitirre Studios. Pitirre brought me on to develop the Shopify store, implementing the new brand identity.

Objectives

The main goal was to apply the rebranding using Shopify’s free Dawn theme, ensuring the design reflected the new visual identity and that the site would be ready for the summer relaunch.

Strategy

Pitirre Studios provided me with all brand assets and guidelines—including logos, color palette, tone, and creative vision. I integrated these elements into the Dawn theme, tailoring the design to match the brand's new direction.

Beyond design, I focused on product organization and collection automation to ensure smooth navigation without the need for manual updates when adding new items.

The collaboration was especially efficient thanks to Humberto, Pitirre’s Art Director and Lead Designer, who acted as the bridge between the client and me, ensuring a seamless translation of strategy into execution.

Results

The Apparel Collective handled the store launch themselves, as the client was already familiar with the Shopify platform. The final result was a polished and functional online store that successfully reflected the new identity—just in time for their summer launch.
